Wesleyan students perform an exciting array of dance styles from a variety of courses, including Assistant Professor of the Practice in Dance and African American Studies Joya Powell's DANC 210 "Afro-Brazilian Dance II," Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance Dewati Rahmayani's DANC 251 "Javanese Dance I," Professor of Dance, Global South Asian Studies, and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Hari Krishnan's DANC 261 "Bharata Natyam I: Introduction of South Indian Classical Dance," Associate Professor of the Practice in Dance Doug Elkins' DANC 215 "Hip Hop Dance II," and Chair and Associate Professor of Dance, and Associate Professor of Environmental Studies, Education Studies, and Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies Katja Kolcio's DANC 111 "Introduction to Dance."
